Our guest is Aaron Bernstein, MD, MPH, the director for the CDC’s National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. Dr. Bernstein also shares guidelines for physicians on when to test for perfluoroalkyl, or, per- and polyfluorinated substances, PFAS in patients and how PFAS exposure can be harmful.
