We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ahmed Alhadyan, OD, MSc, MBA, Dr.h.c., FRSHP, FAIS, MCOptom, as a new OneNeurology Ambassador.

Dr. Alhadyan is a Doctor of Optometry, public health fellow, and global health innovation specialist with expertise in Visual Neuroscience and Low Vision Rehabilitation. His work spans clinical practice, public health, healthcare quality, and innovation, with a strong focus on improving outcomes for people living with neurological conditions. He also serves as a Technical Advisor to the WHO Assistive Technology Group and has contributed to international healthcare guidelines and quality initiatives.

As an advocate for multidisciplinary neurological care, Dr. Alhadyan is committed to strengthening collaboration between neurologists, vision specialists, primary care providers, and public health professionals to improve early detection, rehabilitation, and long-term patient outcomes.

He believes neurological health requires a whole-of-system approach and wants to promote greater integration of visual neuroscience and low vision rehabilitation within neurological care pathways.
