Overview: The FDA has not approved any ENDS product as an effective or safe smoking cessation tool. Earlier evidence did not indicate that ENDS were effective or sustainable. Most of these studies were done on earlier prototypes of e-cigarettes. A recent study from the UK found that newer generation ENDs were more successful than approved NRT products for smoking cessation. Join us as we discuss this new evidence and how it impacts strategies to assist with smoking cessation.

Guests: Jill Terrien PhD, ANP-BC & Susan Feeney, DNP, FNP
